Add Activity’s Questions

For Admin, Teacher Roles

Through this section, you can know how to add the different types of questions while creating an activity, whether it is an assessment, a quiz, or an in-class activity.

To add a question

  1. On the page where you are adding the activity, under the activity type section, in the Questions tab, click Start Adding Questions, the questions types page opens.

  2. Click the type of question you want to add.

    The different questions’ types that you can add are:

    Classic Questions

    • MCQ Question: to allow the student to select one answer from many available answers for the proposed question.
    • True/False Question: to allow the Teacher to add a statement to which the student shall answer by stating whether the statement is true or false.
    • Multi-response Question: to allow the student to select more than one answer from many available answers for the proposed question.
    • Matching Question: to allow the student to match the different available answers with their correspondents in the opposite column.
    • Fill in the Blanks Question: to allow the Teacher to add an incomplete statement, which the student shall complete.
    • Ordering Question: to allow the student to re-order the available answers to make an appropriate sense.
    • Image Question: to allow the Teacher to upload an image and ask a question related to it.

    Typing Questions

    • Essay Question: to allow the student to answer the proposed question in an essay form.
    • Short Answer Question: to allow the student to answer the proposed question in a short form.

    Passage Based

    • Comprehension Question: to allow the student to answer questions about a comprehension passage.

    Import From

    • Import from Question Bank: to import a previously added question in a question bank to be used in the activity you are creating.

    Note

    The essay, short-answer, and image questions are not available for self-paced courses.
