Create Activity's Questions

For Admin, Teacher Roles

There are four different ways in which the Administrator can create the questions that construct the activities, whether the activity is an assessment, a quiz, or an in-class activity. The four ways to create the activity’s questions are:

  • Designing different types of questions for the students to answer directly.
  • Requiring the students to submit their answers to the activity, through attaching a handout.
  • Uploading a SCORM file, which contains the questions of the activity; this way is only available for creating assessments.

Designing Activity’s Questions

You can use the different types of questions available on the system to design the activity’s questions. This method is valid, whether you are creating an assessment, or a quiz, or an in-class activity.

To design activity’s questions

  1. On the Add Assessment, the Add Quiz, or the Add In-Class Activity pages, under the Assessment Type, the Quiz Type, or the In-Class Type sections, click Questions, as in the following figure.

  2. Under Submission Type, click the desired activity submission type either:
    1. Take Once; to limit the students to take this activity only once.
    2. Practice; to allow the students to take this activity more than once.

      Note

This option is only available while creating an assessment or creating an in-class activity.

  3. In the Passing Score box, type the success percentage required by the student to pass the activity.
  4. You can select to randomly organize the questions, to guarantee that the students shall not be able to share the questions with each other, by selecting the Randomize Questions check box.
  5. Add the activity’s questions, by clicking Start Adding Questions.

    Note

To know how you can add the different types of questions, go to the Adding Activity’s Questions section.

Requiring Activity Handout
